Galveston Sustainable Communities Alliance

Dr. Walne supported the development of GSCA in securing its 501(c)3 status from the IRS, conducting an education assessment, creating a Galveston Education Transformation Plan, board development, fundraising, and hiring the first Executive Director.  http://www.galvestonsca.org/

Marina’s expert consulting has helped the Galveston Sustainable Communities Alliance emerge in one year from a fledgling organization to a leading catalyst for education reform in Galveston.   Our progress, success and respect in the community have been driven by her expertise and her ability to communicate and connect with educational professionals as well as business and nonprofit leaders.  She creates a “team” working on the same mission.
