Mitchell Institute, Texas A&M University

Dr. Walne supported the Mitchell Institute for Fundamental Physics’ in securing a $20 million endowment grant and a commitment of $11 million in faculty lines from A&M as well as rebranding the Institute.

I can attest to the fact that Dr. Walne is the opposite of dark energy, the domain of my research; rather she is a positive, energetic force for transforming any institution.  Her strategic thinking and clear presentations led to success in our securing the necessary funds to move the Mitchell Institute into international prominence.
