Dr. Walne worked in partnership with several staff members at the department to revamp the National Blue Ribbon School Program that recognizes top performing schools in the nation.

As a consultant, Dr. Walne led our effort at the Department of Education to add a strong focus on student achievement results and closing the achievement gap to our National Blue Ribbon Schools Program.
